Nuevo sencillo que THE YELLOW MELODIES extraen de su aclamado álbum ‘New Identities’ (Discos Imprescindibles, 2010), en concreto, de la canción que cierra el disco, “You make me fall in love”.

El single ha sido publicado por el selecto sello alemán Vollwert Records, dentro de su exquisita colección Edition 59, que se compone de ediciones limitadas y numeradas de 59 copias de cada referencia en el precioso formato de cd-single 3”, y cuyo catálogo reúne a interesantes grupos de la escena indie-pop internacional, como BIFF BANG POW!, THE JASMINE MINKS, ST. CHRISTOPHER, PHIL WILSON, SOCIALIST LEISURE PARTY, APPLE ORCHARD, etc...

En este cd-single THE YELLOW MELODIES nos sorprenden con una nueva y maravillosa versión de “You make me fall in love”, remezclada para la ocasión por Cris (capo del sello Bubbletone, y que toca también en SUNDAE y en WASABI MONSTER), quién le da un toque muy Phil Spector, que le queda muy bien.

Además, THE YELLOW MELODIES nos regalan dos temas inéditos y exclusivos para este sencillo: “Takin’ it easy”, un tema algo antiguo que VACACIONES versionearon adaptándola como “No es tan fácil”; y “Little princess”, un tema de armonías vocales y guitarras brillantes.

This is a new single taken from the THE YELLOW MELODIES’ ‘New Identities’ album (Discos Imprescindibles, 2010), the last track on the record, “You make me fall in love”.

The single has been released on the gorgeous German Vollwert Records label, within its exquisite collection called Edition 59, a catalogue of beautiful limited and hand-numbered 59 copies of each reference, enclosed in a wonderful cd-single 3” format. Other remarkable artists and bands of the international indie-pop scene who have recorded for the Edition 59 label are: BIFF BANG POW!, THE JASMINE MINKS, ST. CHRISTOPHER, PHIL WILSON, SOCIALIST LEISURE PARTY, APPLE ORCHARD, and so on...

In this new cd-single THE YELLOW MELODIES come across a new and interesting version of “You make me fall in love”, remixed by Cris (Bubbletone’s label director, and who also plays in SUNDAE and WASABI MONSTER), who gives this song a Phil Spector touch, that sounds really nice!

THE YELLOW MELODIES also complete this single with two previously unreleased jewels, exclusive for this record: “Takin’ it easy”, an old song that VACACIONES made well-known singing it in Spanish, recalling it “No es tan fácil”; and “Little princess”, a delighting song with vocal harmonies and brilliant guitars.
